DATE: September 22-24, 2023 (Arrive any time after 2PM Friday, depart by 12 PM Sunday)
LOCATION: Holly Park Marina, Toledo Bend Lake, Texas
COST: $190+/- (Depending on added activities/meals) NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT $162.50 (Remaining balance and any gratuity to guide paid at end of trip. Kayak rental and meals are not included in total cost.)
This trip includes two nights of camping. There is electricity available at the camp sites. There is a bathhouse and laundry room on the premises. TWO Coordinator will be checked into our camping sites by 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
Plan to kayak the new TP&W kayaking trail, Patroon Bayou Paddle Trail Saturday morning. This trail can range from 2-6 hours of kayaking. Fishing from the kayak is allowed. Afterwards, we can spend the day as we please by swimming, fishing, hiking, or just relaxing. Bowfishing trip starts around 8:00 PM Saturday evening and will last 4 hours.
Sunday is up to you! You do not have to be checked out until 12:00 p.m.

ITINERARY
FRIDAY: Check-in to campsites before 4:00 p.m. (TWO Coordinator will be there by 2:00) then eat, swim, fish, visit (whatever we decide!)
SATURDAY: Breakfast (make at our camp or eat at the convenience store cafe) Afterward, we will kayak 2-6 hours. Lunch (make at our camp or eat at the convenience store cafe) and afterward choose to swim, fish, hike, relax (whatever we decide.) Dinner (go out to eat or eat at camp.) Meet at boat launch around 8:00PM for a 4-hour bowfishing trip before returning to camp for the night.
SUNDAY: This is up to you. You do not have to be checked out until 12:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

BOWFISHING: All equipment is provided - you may bring your own bow or PPE (life jacket, etc.)
CAMPING: there is an additional $10 fee for hooking up an AC unit. You will need to provide your own camping gear.
KAYAKING: is $10 - $20/hour depending on the type of kayak you rent. * It is recommended that you reserve your kayak in advance -> HERE
Life jackets are provided * You may use your own kayak for a $2 launch fee
Louisiana allows you to bow fish catfish, so you may want to bring a cooler to bring fish home, if you want. You may bring home any fish you shoot. Bring snacks for the bow fishing trip.
There is a convenience store on site. They are open during daylight hours. You may also rent small boats for day use at the marina.
They have Sunday morning services on site, as well.
Alcohol in moderation for those over the age of 21 is allowed, even during the bow fishing trip. NO glass containers, please. Be responsible.

Valid Texas or Louisiana fishing license. Toledo Bend borders both states, but you only need one license.
