FAQs

  • At this time, Texas Women’s Outdoors hosts events for women ages 18 and older.

  • You do not need a membership to join TWO events and trips. Access to our community requires no obligation. Come and go as you please!

Coming January 2024, Texas Women’s Outdoors will be launching an optional paid membership that will offer discounts and perks, including a few exclusive events available to those with this membership.

  • Necessities vary by event and more often than not, you may be required to provide your own gear. Your coordinator will help you make sure you are equipped and prepared for your trip and can help access loaner equipment, depending on availability.

For hunting and fishing trips, we require you to obtain the respective State’s certifications/licenses/permits.

Specific requirements may be found on each event’s information page, located in the “Upcoming Events” tab. Please feel free to reach out to your coordinator with any questions!

  • Through our wonderful community, we have been blessed with donations of various gear that can be loaned out on trips, such as camping gear.

Don’t let a lack of gear keep you from trying something new, please reach out to us and we will work to get you what you need, if possible!

  • You are responsible for providing your own transportation to and from events as well and any additional costs associated with your participation.

  • Most events require a nonrefundable deposit upon registration, paid for through our website. This secures your place on the roster and pays toward your total balance.

Every event information page will have directions regarding further payments, usually requiring any leftover balances to be paid out in person at the time of the event. Your event coordinator can help you with options for methods of payment.

We currently do not offer payment plans.

  • Please see below or visit our Cancellation/Refund Policy

    Policy page here:

BY REGISTERING FOR ANY TEXAS WOMEN'S OUTDOORS (“TWO LLC”) EVENTS, YOU ARE UNDER THE FULL UNDERSTANDING OF OUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY.

As a courtesy to those organizing your hunt/activity, TWO LLC, Guides/Outfitters etc., we ask that attendees contact us immediately or at a minimum of TWO WEEKS prior to the event to cancel.

Please email texaswomensoutdoors@gmail.com as soon as possible with your cancellation. TWO LLC understands that extenuating circumstances happen. Should that occur, your request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and communicated in a timely fashion to attendees.

Attendee – If a registered attendee cancels their participation in a TWO LLC hunt/activity NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be considered.

NO shows – If a registered attendee is a no show to their TWO LLC hunt/activity and did not provide appropriate notice, attendee will NOT be considered for any refund or credit.

TWO LLC Cancelation - If a representative from TWO LLC cancels a scheduled hunt/activity due to issues outside of their control, you will be notified at the earliest convenience. A refund or credit option will be offered to the attendee. Examples of “outside of their control” may include, but are not limited to; Guide/Outfitter, natural disaster/dangerous weather conditions or a representative’s personal emergency, work, injury, illness, or death.

TWO LLC is NOT responsible for any attendee travel-related costs or travel-related cancellation fees to a TWO LLC hunt/activity. When planning your attendance, we recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance from an independent provider as TWO LLC does not offer this service. Please review the trip cancellation insurance from your chosen provider carefully.

No rate reductions/refunds/credit/rescheduling will be given to an attendee(s) who voluntarily or involuntarily leaves a TWO LLC hosted hunt/activity/event before the formal conclusion of said hunt/activity/event.

Financial refunds approved by TWO LLC management will be less any credit card or financial institution fees that were originally incurred with your transaction. Financial refunds will be issued in the form of a corporate check and mailed to the appropriate party. Refunds may take up to 4 weeks to process.

  • We’re excited to have you along with us! Every event requires an event registration waiver to be filled out, which you can find here.

PLEASE NOTE: Fill out the waiver with correct and immediate contact information as our coordinators use this information to reach out to you. Most events will have a Facebook group message created several weeks out for further information/planning. Our coordinators need to contact you not only to send the invite, but also get you prepared for your upcoming trip. If we cannot make contact with you within the week of your trip, we will assume you have forfeited your spot and deposit.

  • You can find the registration waiver here, or by clicking the drop down menu under the “EVENTS” tab at the top of your screen.

  • Not all events will have a group message. These group messages serve as a great source of information and planning for the entire group, as more often than not there are several ladies who will be accompanying you. That being said, you are not obligated to join any group message. Please let your event coordinator know you would like to opt out of the group message so they may communicate updates with you through your preferred method.

  • Not all events require your coordinator to personally reach out to you prior to the event, however most full-day and overnight trips will. Contact is usually made 2-4 weeks prior to such trips.

Always feel free to reach out to your coordinator with questions and concerns! If you have not heard from your coordinator within 2 weeks of your trip, please email us via the “Contact” link at the bottom of this page.

Your coordinator, whom is specified at the bottom of every event’s information page, will use the contact information provided in your registration waiver to get ahold of you. PLEASE make sure you provide accurate information, it is essential not only for emergencies, but also so you do not accidentally forfeit your spot by default. If we cannot contact you within the week of your trip, you risk forfeiture of deposit and spot.

  • While we can’t control Mother Nature, we understand things may not go according to plan. It is important to remember nature does not follow plans. We cannot 100% guarantee you will catch a fish or harvest your goal, but we will do everything in our power to make it happen.

In the event you’re not satisfied with the outcome of a trip, please do not hesitate to reach out to your coordinator with your concerns! Any requests for refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Coordinator and ambassador applications open roughly every six months, or as needed. Please email us for an estimated timeframe on when they will open. All partner inquiries may be emailed to Kelly Godfrey at texaswomensoutdoors@gmail.com
