WHAT IS INCLUDED
This hunt is open to SHOTGUN and or BOW hunters.
ONE RIO TURKEY A second turkey is optional but will be an additional $200 paid onsite.
SINGLE DAY AM & PM access to hunt property
ONLY 2 HUNTERS will be scheduled per day.
GROUND blinds will be set up prior to arrival.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
This hunt does NOT include any LODGING or MEALS ~ DAY HUNT ONLY
NO GUIDE unless you request that when you register.

ABOUT
The property is located just southwest side of San Antonio (outside Loop 1604) in beautiful Floresville, TX. The land manager has been monitoring two large roosts and did not have any fall turkey hunters. To manage his turkey population, he must thin the flock! What better way than OPENING WEEKEND OF TURKEY Season in SOUTH TEXAS!
** Due to the early start of this hunt, we will not have time to inspect your shotguns prior to the hunt. Please have your gun in safe working order and it is suggested you pattern your shot for better accuracy. The National Shooting Complex is located on the West side of San Antonio past Sea World. Like all hunting of true wild game on public land & private ranches; TWO / Coordinator or landowner/guide/outfitter cannot guarantee an animal. To increase your opportunity of taking home a trophy, please practice your marksmanship before arriving and give some effort to prepare physically.
ITINERARY
5 AM - Arrival/Check-In at Ranch in Floresville, TX - address/coordinates/pin will be communicated prior to event.
Hunters will hunt until about 11 am and then break for lunch on your own. If you have NOT killed a turkey, you may return at a time designated by Coordinator and Ranch contact on the SAME DAY.
GROUND blinds will be provided and are close to a roost area - please bring GOOD walking shoes, a seat for the stand and other choice of personal gear.
DECOYS will NOT be available. Hunters responsibility.
YOU WILL NEED TO
Valid Texas Hunting license / Hunters Safety Certification (MANDATORY)
Shotgun (20g or 12g recommended)
Shotgun ammo - turkey load recommended
Camo is highly recommended (plan on layering-Texas weather) - Turkey have excellent eye sight.
Turkey face mask or equivalent
Eye & ear protection
Decoys if you choose
Box, diaphragm or slate call recommended
Seat for blind
Bird bag or vest
Ice chest to take home harvested game
